I have an announcement about some changes...

Hey, everyone.  Happy Monday to you.  Well, I've been thinking long and hard about this post. I knew I was going to have to make it, and before I did, I wanted to think over everything that was going to be said thoroughly.

So, on that note, I want you all to know that some changes have recently occurred in my life.  These changes are for the best and I'm very excited to see what the future holds for me.  I can't wait to see what's in store, and I hope you all will stick with me on this next leg of my journey.

With that, I have to announce that I have decided to leave my publisher.  This decision I thought about long and hard. I discussed it with my family and friends, and, at the end of the day, realized this was what was best for me and my career.

Now, I want you all to know that what's next for me I see as an opportunity. I see a great future ahead and I'm excited to get my feet wet and continue on.  Saying all this leads me to my next announcement...

I'm going indie!!!

That's right. All future works will be put out by me and given directly to you. I'm very excited about joining the ranks of other awesome NA self-pubbers out there, and can't wait to see what's in store.

So what's next for my new adult science fiction romance, THE CRIMSON HUNT?

A release date, of course :)

THE CRIMSON HUNT will be released November 12, 2012 through Amazon, and Barnes and Noble Publishing!

And my short, new adult holiday story, HOLIDAY FLING, will be released November 26, 2012.

I'm very excited and looking forward to a great release.  My blogoversary is also next month, so with that fact AND two releases on top of that means good things for you. You all know how crazy I am about giveaways...  And I also just happened to go to an indie signing a few weeks back...  And came home with a lot of books.  And there also might be a Kindle amongst the haul...

*Grins*

You'll just have to see what's in store!

On a final note, I just want to thank all my readers and online buddies (both reading and writing) for all your support thus far, and I hope to you see you all on THE CRIMSON HUNT release day as I debut my crazy twenty-somethings!!!

On top of all this, I'm also having two cover reveals coming up, one for THE CRIMSON HUNT and one for HOLIDAY FLING, both within the next three weeks.  Those of you who signed up, watch your emails this week and those who wish to sign up, click the button below!!!

Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4) by: Abbi Glines
Release Date: October 23, 2012
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

The day Preston Drake figured out that wealthy women paid well for a set of tight abs and a pretty face his life turned around.

The run down rat-infested trailer he had shared with his alcoholic mother and three younger siblings was now only a place he visited to pay the bills and stock the pantry with food.

He no longer worried about his family starving or living without electricity. The money he made entertaining rich older women more than covered his family’s needs and his own. He had it all figured out. Except…

There was this girl.

She was as innocent as he was tainted.

Amanda Hardy wished her knees didn’t get weak when Preston walked into a room. She hated the fact her heart raced when he flashed his smile in her direction. He had a different girl in his bed every night. He was the kind of boy a smart girl ran from. So, why was she coming up with ways to get close to him? Even when it was obvious he wanted to keep her at a distance.

Maybe her heart knew something the world didn’t. Maybe Preston Drake was more than just a pretty face.

About the Author:

Abbi Glines can be found hanging out with rockstars, taking out her yacht on weekends for a party cruise, sky diving, or surfing in Maui. Okay maybe she needs to keep her imagination focused on her writing only. In the real world, Abbi can be found hauling kids (several who seem to show up that don’t belong to her) to all their social events, hiding under the covers with her MacBook in hopes her husband won’t catch her watching Buffy on Netflix again, and sneaking off to Barnes and Noble to spend hours lost in the yummy goodness of books. Her debut novel, BREATHE, can be found in digital format at Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Existence, a YA paranormal, was released December 13, 2011 by Wild Child Publishing. She also released a YA contemporary romance, The Vincent Boys this Fall. She just released her first New Adult contemporary, Because of Low. She is currently editing the second book in the Existence Trilogy, Predestined. If you want to find her then check Twitter first because she has a severe addiction to tweeting @abbiglines. She also blogs regularly but rarely about anything life changing. She also really enjoys talking about herself in third person.

Fade Blog Tour Stop! Interview with hero: Dace :D

FADE by: A.K. Morgen
Release Date: September 7, 2012
Genre: New Adult Urban Fantasy Romance
Publisher: Curiosity Quills Press

What do you do when you realize nothing in your life is what you’ve believed it to be?

When Arionna Jacobs loses her mother in a tragic accident, her world is turned upside down. She’s forced to leave her old life behind and move in with her father. Dace Matthews, a teaching assistant at her new college, is torn in two, unable to communicate with the feral wolf caged inside him.

When they meet, everything they thought they knew about life unravels. Dace has intimate access to Arionna’s mind, and something deep within her fights to rise to the surface. They don't understand what's happening to them or why, and they're running out of time to sort out the strange occurrences around them.

Their meeting sets an ancient Norse prophesy of destruction in motion, and what destiny has in store for them is bigger than either could have ever imagined. Unless they learn to trust themselves and one another, they may never resolve the mystery surrounding who they are to one another, and what that means for the world.

Hey all!  I'm a stop on the Fade Blog Tour!  FADE is a new adult urban fantasy romance by my Curiosity Quills sister, A.K. Morgen.  A.K. was gracious enough to lend me her swoonworthy hero, Dace, for a few questions.  Here's the interview!

Enjoy!

Me: What's your favorite place in the world, Dace?

Dace: Being with Arionna anywhere is like being home to me. I've never felt as peaceful and on fire at once as I do when I'm around her. It's like if I don't touch her, I'll go crazy. And if I do touch her, I'll go crazy. It's the most bizarre sensation, but it feels right. *smiles a little at the thought* Her thoughts have the same effect. Nothing calms the wolf quite like listening to the endless chatter in her mind. She feels right to us.

Barring being with her, there's a small pond in the heart of the woods right outside town. It's secluded, quiet. The trees just disappear for an acre or so and this still pond sits there unnoticed by my neighbors. I like it out there.

Me: Ah, sigh... *Victoria drops interview paper in a daze. Sits up and clears throat* Um, great answer.  So Arionna sounds like a super stellar chick.  What were your first impressions of her when you met her?

Dace: Honestly? I didn't know what to think of her when I first saw her. She looked so lost and broken sitting on that picnic table with her hair tangling in the wind around her. And so beautifully familiar. I wanted to reach out and touch her, to make sure she was real and I hadn't just imagined her. But more than that, she looked like she needed someone to tell her that everything would be okay. I wanted to do that for her. And run in the other direction. Which I did. Run in the other direction, I mean. *shrugs* It seemed the most prudent idea at the time.

Me: Such a beautiful meeting, Dace.  So, if you had three words to describe you, what would they be?

Dace: Impossible, irritating, and bossy. *laughs, smirking* That's what Arionna tells me. Frequently. I prefer cautious, careful and alpha. Someone has to be, right?

Me: Oh, I completely agree, Dace.  Big strong men with a good head on their shoulders = awesomeness, and I'm sure you do a great job of protecting your lady!  So moving on, if a genie granted you a single wish, what would it be?

Dace: To get everyone through the coming battle safely. Ari, the pack, Chelle and her sister, Mandy . . . . I'm working on making that happen.

Me: That's so brave and admirable of you and a great wish! So, last question: your favorite season and why?

Dace: Winter. Everything is quiet in winter. Even the wolf stops rattling the cage so hard then. I like that. I don't have to fight so hard. I can just be for a little while. That's always nice, and winter in the south is great. No snow, not too cold. Just quiet, less rushed.

*grins at Victoria* Thanks for letting me stop by and chat, Victoria. You're a much more pleasant host than Ayden. She uses duct tape and threats.

Me: Aww, Dace.  You are such a sweetie pie!  And I will talk to Ayken and shake my finger at her.  Thanks for stopping by and come back anytime!

The Crimson Hunt Blurb!!!! Eep!!!! + A Holiday Surpise

Happy Monday, my friends!  Well, I am super excited today because I have something I've been dying to share ever since my new adult sci-fi romance, THE CRIMSON HUNT, has been contracted...

I gots a blurb!

Without further ado, here it is:

The Official Blurb for THE CRIMSON HUNT:

College junior Ariel Richmond is working on year three of Project Normalcy.

Her house reeks of keggers past and her bestie is just a slight bit vulgar.  But the thing is—they both aid in making life refreshingly uneventful.

So much for hard-earned mediocrity when Luca Grinaldi appears on the scene.

Luca’s sudden presence on campus is hard to ignore.  Those bright eyes act like a beacon to unsuspecting females, and with features like his, he’s got to be moonlighting for GQ.  Luca hopelessly captivates Ariel with his confidence and charisma, but the mysteries surrounding him make him nearly untouchable.  And just when Ariel grows close enough to unlock his secrets, a tragic event sends her life in a downward spiral.

That steady life is no longer an option and allies quickly become scarce.  The mysterious Luca seems to be the only one willing to help her—but with that trust comes the burden of his secrets.  He has a dark mission of otherworldly proportions, and is willing to sacrifice as many lives as it takes to see it completed.

Gone are the days of simply maintaining normalcy, and if Ariel isn’t cautious with her trust, so soon may be her future.

What do you think? I'm so excited! Things are finally starting to feel real now.  I'm heavily awaiting to share this story with you...and share my hero ---> (me and my hero obsessed self)

The cover reveal is coming really soon.  So, those of your that have signed up watch your email.  For those who want to sign up, click the link and fill out the form!

So...  I promised a "Holiday" surprise.  Well...

I have a short story coming out!

I wrote a short holiday story and it will be released around the same time as THE CRIMSON HUNT!  There will also be more special news with that in the future so watch me for updates.  But for now...

Official Blurb for HOLIDAY FLING:
Tarrah Reid is aware that she holds the name of a famous Hollywood actress… Not that she cares, since the association helps with her Christmas “floozy” persona. She has one goal every Christmas Eve: sleep with her roommate’s cousin while the rest of the family is distracted by fruitcake. However, her annual conquest comes to a screeching halt when she winds up in the middle of a bank robbery and is miraculously saved by a handsome, redheaded stranger.

A few hours with medical student Chase Stewart has Tarrah’s mind in a daze and her heart aflutter. Suddenly, Tarrah no longer wants her fling—she wants Chase. But if there’s one thing Tarrah has discovered this Christmas Eve, it’s that the Christmas gods have it out for her. Her new favorite redhead and her fling have way more in common than just their towering heights. The anticipated announcement of fruitcake has never been more heightened. Before the fruited-pastry delight is served, Tarrah must decide what she really desires this Christmas Eve – a simple fling or something more.

A New Adult contemporary romance, Holiday Fling is a short Christmas tale with a spicy kick.

I'm doing a small cover reveal with this one too, so if you want in just fill out the same form as the one above.

One last thing: both books are available to be add to your Goodreads TBR's! Just click on their buttons under the blurbs :D

Laterz, peeps!
